We aren’t perfect, but we do try to do our best to keep the items around the house as clean and non-toxic as possible. I like to think we do a relatively good job on most fronts (ehem..i have a long way to go on the clean makeup front..)

I resisted clean deo for the longest time, because well, this is an area where I’m not exactly willing to compromise when it comes to effectiveness, you know what I’m sayin? Mr. SWH insisted that I give Salt & Stone a try and I haven’t looked back since. The most effective, non-toxic deo I have tried, with light and lovely unisex scents.
Briogeo Shampoo & Hair Masks
When I first started trying to get pregnant, one of the first areas that I wanted to clean up was my hair care routine. Enter Briogeo. They have clean shampoos, conditioners and hair care products for every hair type. I’m pretty obsessed. For those with dry and brittle hair like me, try the ‘Don’t Despair, Repair’ line.
So. Freakin. Good.
Stadler Home Air Purifier
Ok, not gonna lie. This one has Mr. SWH’s prints all over it. Given the rough air quality in Dubai, he really wanted to make sure the air in our house was clean with a young baby around. He did a ton of research and ended up landing on the Stadler air purifier. We started with one and now have one in every room of the house. Silent, effective and not toooo bad to look at. Or did i just get used to having them around? Who knows...
Supergoop Daily Mineral Sunscreen
My daily SPF has always been ‘Unseen Sunscreen’ by Supergoop. So great under makeup, with a light, matte finish. Me and unseen were living happily ever after until Mr. SWH insisted that I shift to mineral sunscreen as a cleaner & healthier alternative. Thankfully, Supergoop came through with their ‘Zinc Screen’. It has become my daily sunscreen. I love the slight tint and how light it feels on my skin. Shukran Mr. SWH.
Faith in Nature Shower Gel
There aren’t many (any?) hair / body products that Mr. SWH and I share, but this is one of them. We are both pretty obsessed with Faith in Nature body wash. Non-toxic, smells heavenly, froths well. Is froth the right word for the thing that soap does? Who knows..
